At Greenmax, we’re more than just an irrigation company — we’re a family-owned business proud to call Friendswood, Texas home.
Our owner, Paul Drott, is a native Houstonian with over 35 years of experience in irrigation. Before starting Greenmax, Paul served six years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Forrestal, stationed across the Mediterranean and North Atlantic. After his service, he returned to Houston, became a licensed irrigator, and discovered a love for creating custom fountains — a passion that continues to shape our work today.
Since 2005, Greenmax has been dedicated to reliability, expert diagnostics, and integrity. From irrigation and outdoor lighting to one-of-a-kind fountains, our goal is to help you enjoy an outdoor space that’s both beautiful and functional.

Paul’s wife, Stacey, runs our sister company, Sunshine Designs Group — a boutique-style landscaping business that specializes in creative, custom designs for every season. While Paul keeps your yard running at its best, Stacey and her team can transform it into something extraordinary with personalized plants and landscape designs. Together, we offer the complete package for your outdoor space.
